I tired to install Master PDF Editor in Mageia 7.1 couple of months ago. Not worked as I remember. Do you know any alternative software? Not tried it in Mageia 8. WPS PDF is available. But it is not an Editor. https://code-industry.net/free-pdf-editor/

1) Ask the program developers to assist so they have a potential to sell more of it then: Ask for Flatpak or Appimage, ask for tip on installing on Mageia.

2) If you tell us what you need to do it is easier to suggest tool for it.

3) Libreoffice: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=libreoffice+import+pdf

4) Search our packahes for pdf - you find i.e pdfarranger

AS I know Master PDF Editor works fine with out paying in the past. I used it couple of times.
Install and try. I am looking for a easy to use PDF editor compatible to Adobe reader interface or PDF-XChange Viewer.

I will try PDF Arranger

I meant you can ask for compatibility when talking to program vendors, with the argument that if they make it easier to install, that makes a wider market, so will sell more.

Apart from that, you did not tell what was the problem with that program when you tried to install it in Mageia 7.1.
You can try if their current program works in mga8. Use their rpm, or tar.

If not already, you should read https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Ways_to_install_programs

Then buy Adobe Acrobat, and use it e.g. under Wine.
