in qt5 settings style menu , there is supposed to be an option that makes qt5 follow gtk theme . perhaps there is a package that enable qt and gtk integration that needs to be
installed.

Do you really only want it to apply to Qt applications or for KDE/plasma in general ? The latter is integrated by default with the package kde-gtk-config, and matching GTK themes are also installed by default
For the former you can install qt5ct but it doesn't provide gtk integration.

I use falkon and calligara in xfce . In other distros I installed before that option usually shows up in qt5ct. It is not a big deal if you can not find a solution to it.

I found out that package name is qgtkstyle or qt5gtk2, I am not sure, and it used to be a part of qt5ct. Now it is part of a different package called qt5-styleplugins and it is not available for mageia so far. thanks.
