I am getting a new PC from Novatech. It is coming with no OS installed. Novatech say that they only support Window$ so is there anything I have to do before installing Mageia 8?

You may want to test without touching the disk: use a Live image on a USB stick.

Other than that: Decide how you want it installed, i.e encrypted or not.

I'll have to wait due to some items I requested are out of stock. Earliest I can expect being the end of the month. Thanks.
