Hi there, some more details would be appreciated. Which DVD image did you use in particular, and did you verify the checksum sucessfully as suggested on the download page?

And also did you use DVD burn verification? I had many non perfect experiences with optical media and DVD burners so I prefer USB if possible.

Drives age and get dusty. It is not uncommon for some drive to not read a DVD that is verified OK in another drive.

Can you test putting the ISO on an USB stick?

Other DVD iso images worked perfectly burnt on the same medium e.g. Openmandriva lx 4.2 | Fedora live desktop aso.

You still didn't mention whether you verified the checksum of your downloaded image.

Also please add some more details, which DVD image did you use in particular, and are you booting in UEFI or legacy mode ?
