I am currentlly using debian which has a microsoft mono and nuget stuff. Old mandriva was able to run dos and microsoft packages well native. so was wondering how's mageia compatibilly with msvcrt and all microsoft runtime stuff??

Hi there, not really, no. Linux cannot run dos and microsoft packages natively. For windows programs, you can use wine. For DOS programs, you'd have to use something like dosemu.

Both are packaged for Mageia, same as for Mandriva back then. For mono, that's also packaged.
