[SOLVED]The update flag

Hello, I am curious about the update flag that used to appear in the bottom bar along with net_applet, etc. This flag would alert me that some new updates were available. I have not seen the update flag for months.

Checking on this, I used the Mageia Control Center to see if updates had stopped. And there was a bunch waiting to be done, so I did.

I'm still not getting any update flags. Have they been dropped?

No, they haven't. Maybe you clicked on it and supressed the startup ?
Check if you have a file ~/.MgaOnline/mgaonline - you can simply delete it if you have it.

Apart from that, the applet autostart is triggered via /etc/xdg/autostart/mageia-mgaonline.desktop
and the running process is "/usr/bin/perl /usr/bin/mgaapplet"
The package that contain the applet is called mgaonline.

Thank you so much! I like the convenience of this applet. I don't remember doing anything to it to suppress it.
Anyway, I deleted that file. I will watch for the flag again.

I will mark the thread solved as soon as I see the "update flag". Otherwise I will return.

Hello again.
I saw my first update flag today, and it all worked fine. Thanks for helping me restore this important feature.
