[SOLVED]LibreOffice updt failed - LO gone not fixed for me

Even though this issue seems to have been fixed for others, I got hit with it earlier today and now I have no LO whatsoever.

When I try to update my system the only thing it finds is a perldocs update that it can't install due to:

Code: Select all
Sorry, the following package cannot be selected:

- perl-doc-5.28.3-2.mga7.noarch (due to unsatisfied perl-5.28.3-2.mga7.i586)

I can't even install LO from MCC, if I try to select it I get the following msg:

Code: Select all
Sorry, the following package cannot be selected:

- libreoffice-6.4.4.2-1.mga7.i586

The only parts of LO that are still installed are "libreoffice-data 6.4.4.2 1.mga7 noarch" and "libreoffice-opensymbols-fonts 6.4.4.2 1.mga7 noarch".

So is there some way that I can rectify this problem seeing that it doesn't seem to have been automatically fixed for me like others?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I use Mageia 7 OS in swedish.
My solotion of the problem was to first rmove LibreOffice and then download LibreOffice from , in my case, https://sv.libreoffice.org/home/. It my also be possible to download from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/.
Then I install it with instruction from , in my case https://sv.libreoffice.org/ladda-ner-li ... ide/linux/.
Instruction is on https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Doc ... tall/Linux
When the installation of LibreOffice was ready I could run the Mageia update with no problems.

On my system, LO seemed to have been installed successfully, but today it would not install without removing a whole load of langpacks (af, bg, cs etc.) and tried to install the af (?Afrikaans?) langpack instead of the normal (for me) en langpack.

I had to go into mcc and manually remove all of the langpacks, and install the en langpack, after which the whole thing seems to have installed normally.

There were problems previously with a slew of patches prompting me to pick a language and it looks like all of the offending langpacks somehow were selected for installation. How, I have no idea, as they are irrelevant (to me and my system). But if this experience is anything to go by, you have to go into mcc and check all the langpacks and language-specific help files before trying to reinstall LibreOffice.

I should say that everything appeared fine until I accidentally opened LO this morning and found that the UI was not in English. So you need to check these things.

Thanks for the replies - all fixed and re-installed.

Seems I didn't have 2 basic repositories defined so I couldn't select to install LO.
