Please at least post the output of
Code: Select all
urpmq --list-media active --list-url

The mirror you're using either is incomplete, or you had a bad download.
Either try again after urpmi.update -a or remove all your repositories, and configure a new set:

You're missing Tainted Updates, by the way.

The mirror mirrorservice.org should be fine. Can you open any of the above URLs in a browser ?

Sorry, cannot reproduce, the link http://mirrors.mageia.org/status works fine here, might be an issue with your internet connection then.

Hi,

This is very interesting. When I tried to access the sites I received an connect error. When I changed the http to https I was successful. I have no idea how this could have happened.
I tried this with the Falkon and Firefox browsers and got the same result. It seems my browsers will only accept https pages. I have no idea how to fix this. THanks.

You may want to open a separate thread if that's an issue for you.

But what about the initial issue - can you connect to that mirror now, or did you configure a different mirror ?
