[SOLVED] New choice at login: choose session

Today I suddenly got a new option at login: choose session. But I have only one session, called "Default". I cannot find the setting that removes this choice and reverts the login automatically to the one session there is.

does anyone know how to get back to automatic choice of the session?

Greetings

It might help, if you would mention what Mageia release and what display manager you're currently using.

Dear Doktor,

I am sorry that I forgot to mention the necessary details. I installed Mageia 7 XFCE 64-bit on an older desktop computer. The display manager is the default one: LightDM. Everything works as hoped for, and I am happy with this new lease of life for my older computer. I am experimenting with it and trying several things out. A few hours ago I got a new option out of the blue: at login after entering my password I got a choice of sessions, although there is only one, called "default". The login screen is the default one for XFCE on Mageia. Years ago, when the distro was still called "Mandrake" the same thing happened, but I cannot remember how the problem was solved then.

Thank you for your help.

Greetings

Erik Jan

Dear Doktor,

I found it! I went through all settings in XFCE again and suddenly I found a setting that I had not seen before, that I could intepret as referring to my problem. It is under "session and Start up" (or something like this — I use the Dutch language) and "General" , the first option: "Show Seesion-Chooser" (or something like this). I unselected it and now I am back to normal.

Thank you fr your constant willingness to help us users.
