I am running Mageia 7 fully updated and KDE and minimised programs are no longer displayed on the task-bar panel. Hovering over Desktop 1 shows a list of minimised programs but I am unable to access or delete them. Any help would be appreciated

As a first step can you use Alt+Tab to still access your minimized programs?

Did you maybe just remove the task list from the panel ? You can add it back to the panel, like any other applet.
