Netinstall upgrade doesn't accept router pw.

I decided to upgrade to MGA7 with the MGA7 Netinstall nonfree ISO for X86-64 on a DVD. Checksums etc of the ISO are OK.

I chose FTP and DHPC. Then the ISO asks the ssid and pw for the router. SSID is accepted, but the pw must be hexadecimal, and on my router I have a pw in characters, numbers and special characters. When I use my pw, the ISO refuses to connect, saying the router is 'sleeping'. My other PC can make a normal connection to the web. I think the ISO doesn't allow the pw in normal characters.
For obvious reasons I don't want to change my pw.
Is there a way to upgrade per Netinstall DVD?
Tnx.

If you have a running system that you want to upgrade, why not do the upgrade via urpmi ?

I did an online upgrade from MGA 6 to MGA7 per maapplett.
This resulted in a sddm greeter that is blinking very strange, and the resulting system is unstable (frequent crashes when opening folders or programms). That is why I choose to install the system again via a clear install, using Netinstall.

Is it true that the Netinstall expects hexadecimal input for the pw?

From what I remember, even the nonfree netinstall only works properly with wireless chipsets that don't require any nonfree drivers (like most older atheros chipsets) and it only works with WEP-secured network, because there's no wpa_supplicant.

Thanks for the info. Both things escaped my attention. Maybe it is a suggestion to warn Netinstall downloaders about this somewhere on the website?
