Post upgrade, boot menu says Cauldron but it isn't!

I've upgraded several systems on-line from the command line without issue according to the instructions in the release notes.
Yesterday, I did the same for another user who wasn't confident doing their own upgrade from 6 to 7.
All seemed to be fine but, on reboot, the graphical boot menu said "Mageia 7 Cauldron" and "Mageia 7 Cauldron (Safe Mode)" for the first two entries.
Using urmpq --list-url, all media seems to be pointing at "7" not "cauldron". All packages end in .mga7. The kernel is the correct one for the latest non-cauldron release.
So, I'm pretty sure it isn't really Cauldron. Has anyone else seen this odd menu behaviour?
The laptop in question is an HP 8570w i7 which originally started with Mageia 5 64-bit, upgraded to 6, and now 7. Boot is via grub, not grub2.
Assuming its not really Cauldron, I'd like to correct the text. Where is this stored please - it isn't in menu.lst?
