Hello

Since I installed Mageia on a solid state disk I want to install software with high data access not on this disk.
Can I install software elsewhere?

Regards

Not really, no, at least not in the sense that you seem to expect, as even a single package is split across multiple different directories (like /etc, /usr/share, /usr/lib, /var ...)

And I'd also suggest you better use your SSD instead of worrying beforehand for what you don't want to use it ...
