I read the problem in some topics of the forum a month ago and they referenced https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=25031.

In august, I am not seeing the upgrade notification yet even when I try looking for updates manually.

that I am aware of, the upgrade notifier has not yet been enabled.

This is likely due to (a) serious bug(s) that have been found by either QA when testing the upgrade feature or normal users whom have chosen to upgrade their MGA-6 via other means.

If you are still on MGA-6 and wish to upgrade, be aware that since the upgrade notifier has not been enabled, there is a high likelihood of failure.
If you feel you are capable of performing the upgrade and and are able to resolve any issues, and MGA-7 has features that you need, you are welcome to perform the upgrade by other means.

Thank you for your reply. I will wait to see the upgrade notification. I was asking it because I was worried about that.

It seem to be caused by too less disk space when upgrading.

How should that be related to the applet being enabled yet at all ?
