Unable to install steam via MCC

Sorry, the following package cannot be selected:
- steam-1.0.0.61-1.mga7.nonfree.x86_64
Don't get anymore info other than that with mcc

What about the Core 32-bit source (+updates)? There may be dependencies in there as well. If that's already enabled, maybe you try with the following command

and see if more relevant messages appear

You will need to also enable the 32bit updates repos, also tainted release updates (otherwise you will not get updates for the tainted packages you already have), so 12 in all.
then run an update request,

.

then retry installing steam.

please attach any error messages

thats fine, no problem.

(it appears that the 32bit repos not automatically enabled is likely to be an on-going issue for new users.)
