How can I use "Hamster Time Tracker" in the KDE desktop?

The documentation on Hamster says it is a Gnome applet. In a YouTube video, it runs as an applet in the Gnome Desktop.
Does anyone have experience, or advice on runnig this in the KDE desktop?

I can just start it from terminal:
