[SOLVED]ACPI errors during boot

Postby mackowiakp » Feb 21st, '19, 08:57

Laptop (and desktop PC) rapports me a lot of ACPI errors during initial boot. Probably it is BIOS related problem (as forum stands). But I don want to change BIOS to newest because everything else working fine. Is it possible to turn off those error displaying? It is a little bit strange and suspicious for customers I am coming to and at the beginning they can see multiple errors during boot.

What ACPI errors in particular?

You could try to use loglevel=0 as boot option to suppress those being displayed. See also https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Si ... parameters

I have no logs and all goes very quickly . But there is something like:
Code: Select all
[DSSP] "something" namespace lookup failure

or like
