[SOLVED]LibreOffice Writer does not find fonts in MGA6

After installing new fonts they appear in the font list, and LibreOffice is checked as an application that will support the fonts. They are available for use in Thunderbird when composing a new e-mail, but LibreOffice doesn't see any of them and I can see no way to make them recognized.

How did you install those new fonts, via software management or in some other way, if the latter - how in particular?
If via software management, which fonts did you install ?

Thanks for the link. That was the problem. Apparently support was dropped for the form in which I was importing the fonts. I imported them again as .ttf and that fixed the problem.
