[SOLVED]Adding new user

maybe it is stupid question but I failed to add new user to my laptop.
I added user in the control panel, checked goups which I think it would need (although indeed I am not sure which groups I need to select)
But after restarting or swihing users there is no option to select this new user
Maybe someone could help me with this basic task?

Can you post a screenshot from drakuser or an excerpt of that user from /etc/passwd ?
Also, what login/display manager are you using?

Ok, can you login via a tty as that user normally? And seems you missed one half:

I think I didn't know that user was created after shut dowvn/switch on cycle, not after restart.
Now it is ok

Finally I found the problem: laptop touch-pad is not working properly on the login screen. Although it works properly after login.
