Today I Had to reinstall Mageia 6 Plasma in a clean install with new desktop settings in my home directory, but with the old shortcuts in my Desktop directory. Now they all appear with their complete names, i.e. with the suffix ".desktop" in all the names. How do I change so that only the names show without the suffix?

I am sorry I asked. I tried to find the setting and did not succeed. But now the suffixes suddenly disappeared ...... I do not understand how or why.
