Ask about Pidgin 2.10.9
Posted: Jul 2nd, '18, 08:03Pidgin 2.10.9 was available in the source. It fixes some issues from 2.10.8. Is there a way to get version 2.10.9 into the repository?
It might help if you would specify what "fixes some issues from 2.10.8" means to you, that is whether you are interested in one of those in particular. Because usually any version bump will fix some issue, but that is not really a justification for an update. You may also want to look at https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Updates_policy
But in any case, for your question on how to get that in the repository, the most obvious way would be to create a bugreport for that, that way you will also be notified once an update candidate for this would be released.
