It seems that there was previously available a plugin that enabled editing metadata in Gwenview.
An online search suggests kipi-plugins are needed. I do have these installed, however there is not an entry for editing metadata in plugins menu.
Is this no longer available in Gwenview?

I have never tried it in Gwenview. Maybe ask upstream?

Try to do it in Showfoto, menu Tools.
