420 thinkpad
dual boot with windows 7
Current on up dates
at start I have the choice of
Mageia
Advanced
windows
system will boot w7 successfully [I'm using it now]
booting into Mageia or Advanced, goes through the splash screens & open to a terminal offering maintenance options
I don't know how to get the complete system logs complete here...
I'll be back in a few with the 1st redline

I want to copy the log here via an external drive
I can't figure what query to ask the internet that will yield the procedure [terminal commands] to do that?

As root
Code: Select all
journalctl -ab > /tmp/journal.log

then copy /tmp/journal.log anywhere you want and attach it here.
