[SOLVED]How do I disable the KDE plasma system updater?

I'm getting two sets of update notifications in my taskbar, the usual MGA one and the KDE one. This results in downloading updates twice if I want to clear the notifications. Of course, whichever one I do second tells me updates are already installed after the download. I see how to reduce the frequency that KDE checks for updates, and I've changed that to monthly, but I don't see how to disable it. I also don't like how the KDE updater doesn't ask for my root password before installing system updates. I'm on 64 bit Mageia 6.

Are you able to take a screenshot of when both updaters are shown?

just take a snap of the notification area, not your whole desktop and post it back.

I only ask, because this behavior is new to me. (running both Mga6 and Mga7 x86_64 plasma5.12.2-1)

Do you have plasma-pk-updates installed? That is not usually installed on Mageia systems. You should be able to remove it using MCC - software management.

Yes, I had;
- plasma-pk-updates-0.3.1-1.mga6.x86_64
installed, removing it also removed;
- apper-0.9.3-0.2.20170226.mga6.x86_64

Here's a couple of screenshots from prior to removing it.
