Not deletable user "nobody"

Good day,

as of this week and maybe after updates of KDE4 packages on Mageia 5, there is a brand new user "nobody" at my login mask.

What does this mean and how can I delete this user? Is this user necessary?

I tried to find this user in the MCC, but there is none. There was only a group which had the same name which I already deleted. But the user is still visible at the login screen.

This user also has no directory in /home.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Same here.
Command usermod allows to manipulate user, but MCC cannot see it, and System Settings->Login Screen->users cannot see it too.

It's not a brand new user, it has always been there and is part of a default installation. See e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nobody_(username)
I wouldn't delete it. But that could be done, like any other user via userdel.

It should be hideable either via entry in kdmrc or via running systemsettings login screen module in administrator mode, but I can't reproduce as I don't have an mga5 system anymore.

Okay, as I understand it's there since the installation but only now be can see this.

It's IMHO a bug. Who files the report!?
