failure to mount 64GB Samsung micro SD card [Closed]

Needing to add some files to a 64GB micro SD card, I popped it into a USB card reader and plugged it in. "Available Devices" indicated that it had been detected, but when I tried to open the card with File manager (Konqueror), I got the error message "Could not mount the following device 64GB removable media". Rather surprised, I tried another reader, with the same result. Scratching about, I found another 64GB micro SD , by the same manufacturer, and tried that. I booted up an old Think pad which had Mga 5 installed. That too turned it's nose up at mounting the card. I'm pretty sure that I've used these cards on Mga before, but some time past. is this something I'm doing wrong, or do I have a problem. I re-booted the Think Pad in it's original Windows, and that accepted the card without demur.

Ah, I seem to have solved this myself. I was correct in having used a 64GB sd card before, but that was before an Os Hdd crash, which necessitated a new disk and a new install. On the previous install I had added exfat-utils and exfat-fuse, which solves the problem, and had obviously not added the fact to my "must install as well" notebook. Now having done this all is well
