I think I've raised this topic before, but can't find anything in my list of posts. I know that plus 2TB partitions can be made. In fact I've done it. It was a very fraught operation, as I recall, and not one that I'd want to do again. I asked why diskdrake (In the Control Centre) did not have the facility. The consensus, then, was that it would be a good idea for the future. Which I gather is close on us. My problem is that the OS drive has failed, so do I buy a 4TB drive or another 2TB drive. Herein lies another problem. I currently have the OS on one drive and the home partition on another. This gives me a home directory of 2Tb, but since the backup drive (Back in Time), is also a 2TB unit, and backup files are always bigger than the original, I can't max out the home drive.
