I use the lxqt environment and since the last update the NumLock is deactivated at every startup.
The last updated brought the following packages:

Perhaps you can install numlockx and set it to run on boot as daemon in MCC?

Numlockx is quite dead project in these days,arch wiki don't mention it because of it's bad development.
Also numlockx support only sysvinit no systemd support added to it.
More better is use systemd service mentioned in arch linux wiki.

Bah ... on the page that you linked above it is mentioned several times!

As i use KDM i add the file as described here:

without success, the numlock is not activated in the login screen
