corrupt extent header

Recently I lost power in my house. I have a UPS and shutdown the computer. I thought it had gone OK. But when I rebooted I got this message:
Code: Select all
 7.278734] dracut Warning: e2fsck returned with 4
[    7.279192] dracut Warning: /dev/disk/by-uuid/a0bdd280-f063-4af8-b191-fb61b7c66472 contains a file system with errors, check forced.
[    7.279315] dracut Warning: /dev/disk/by-uuid/a0bdd280-f063-4af8-b191-fb61b7c66472: Error while reading over extent tree in inode 1872605: Corrupt extent header
[    7.279625] dracut Warning: *** An error occurred during the file system check.
[    7.279694] dracut Warning: *** Dropping you to a shell; the system will try
[    7.279759] dracut Warning: *** to mount the filesystem(s), when you leave the shell.
[    7.279937] dracut Warning: filesystem)

I left the shell and the system booted. But now when I reboot I keep getting the error.
Would appreciate any guidance about how to deal with the error.
Thanks

Search on the web regarding the terminal command fsck. This command is for checking or repairing a linux file system and should do what you need.
The dude abides.
