[Solved] Remote Desktop from Win10

I would like to Remote Desktop into my Mageia 5 machine from my Win10 machine.

I can currently SSH to perform command line tasks.
I would like to perform GUI tasks without having to log into the console -- my Magiea machine is functioning as a server.

I have installed the kfrd [I think that was the name] and then tried running Remote Desktop on my Win10 machine connecting to servername:5900 but that does not seem to work.

Am I doing this right?
Is there another server that I should be installing?
Is there another client that I should be using?

Before going further into your issue with kfrd you probably want to have a look at viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9809

Thank you. That link was most helpful.
As it turns out kfrd was not the server I should have been using.
I installed the VNC server [RealVNC appeared to work best, as it did not stop when I logged out] on the Mageia machine and the VNC viewr/client on my Win 10 machine.

VNC represents a severe security issue, if you do not configure it correctly. You should investigate this. Personally, on those occasions where I use it I tunnel it through ssh.
