how to install google earth, on mageia 5 mate?

Set up the repository:

viewtopic.php?f=36&t=3101

Then use urpmi or rpmdrake to install google-earth.

If you start GE from a terminal does it give an error message?

also x86-64 or i586?

You should run it as your normal user - not as root.

Seems to be an issue with the graphics driver. What card and driver do you use, please show the output of

hi people,
i installed GE from official web site,i opened a terminal,and with pluma /opt/google/earth/free/googleearth
i add this: export LC_NUMERIC=en_US.UTF-8
before this line : LD_LIBRARY_PATH=.:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH ./googleearth-bin "$@"
Now i only have a problem with PANORAMIO.
