[Done] M5-64: Configuring KDE for mouse wheel action

Hello,
When I rotate the wheel of the mouse while the mouse is not pointing on any window, the KDE Plasma (4.14.5) desktop switches the view... suddenly all the windows are gone and I am looking at an empty desktop as if starting fresh. Both up and down rotation causes this.

Is there a way to configure this behaviour as I find it distracting? Have spent a few hours but cannot find the cure.

Thanks.

By default it only does this when you mouseover the pager in the panel, which switches workspaces when using the wheel.
You probably need to go to systemsettings - shortcuts and gestures to see whether you defined any other additional actions for the mousewheel: https://userbase.kde.org/System_Setting ... d_Gestures

Right click on the desktop background and select "Folder Settings"
Select "Mouse Actions"
Click the red minus button on the Vertical-Scroll line, or select one of the available alternative actions.

Thanks to arnesp. That distracting workspace scroll is gone now :D
Other normal functions of the mouse wheel seem to be functioning ok .. like scrolling inside windows.
