Hi:

I just could started using the terminal, like you said , otherwise give an error:

systemsettings(16656): KUniqueApplication: Cannot find the D-Bus session server: " Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply time out expired, or the network connection was broken."

systemsettings(16656): KUniqueApplication : Pipe closed unexpectedly.

First came that error und i repeated the command on the terminal, then Systemsettings started normally, then i closed und restarted normally.
Today the start normally was only using the terminal.

Please post the output of
Code: Select all
ps auxwww | grep -i dbus
after a clean boot, before you start systemsettings.

Hi

Today i wanted to follow your input, however was not possible to start KDE and also after a reboot, so i'm doing a restore from an image that i have done last January, and i will do the system update and see how it works, anyway if the problem comes again i will post it in the same, so please don't close this post.
