Can't print PDFs from Okular or Acroread

I have a really odd issue where I can't, from any of three Mageia machines, print PDFs unless I open the PDF with Libre Office!
Has anyone seen anything like this? It works from Windows.
I have an HP Laserjet M476dn with the HPLIP drivers installed from the repositories.
Any pointers of how to track this down would be most welcome.
