Hello,
I used to be able to copy a cd with gnome desktop using brasero. It just seems to go away and do nothing.

Can you run Brasero in a terminal so that you get verbose error messages when things go wrong?
Then you can copy the error message here so that we can help you.

Hello,
It doesn't like an audio cd.It is ok with digital cd & dvd.
This is what it looks like from command line:
