i already asked this Q at bugzilla and i already get this A
This list seems not related to the removal of vlc :
- The localized packages (hunspell-*, hyphen-*) seem not to be used by you and
useless... unless you want to write in afrikaans bengali malayalam and so
on(not linked to vlc)
- The iwlwifi-* are used by intel wifi chipsets (useless if you don't have the
corresponding chipset) NB in the list there's neither the 3945 nor the 4965
ucode perhaps needed by your chipset !
- x11-driver-input-* are drivers for xorg that you may don't need (but mouse
and keyboard !!!)
- xulrunner-6.0.1-1.1 comes from the last updates (you updated firefox-4.0
which required xulrunner and libxulrunner, xulrunner was updated too ... but
seems not to be required anymore by firefox unless it's a forgotten dependancy)
hunspell itself is not in the list
only some of its langpacks appear
same for autocorr and hyphen
If you don't need those langpacks you may remove them....
same for the iwlwifi-* listed
same for the samyak fonts (unless you want to use indian alphabets such as
devanagari or tamil or oriya)
for the libs
for some x11-drivers
for xulrunner
