Laptop keyboard not detected

Postby DonaldFR » Oct 12th, '15, 23:07

I installed Mageia-5 with an external USB keyboard attached, and that was the keyboard detected. My laptop's keyboard was not installed (about half the keys do not work or provide unexpected output). I have not been able to find a solution. Short of re-installing, is there way to force Mageia to detect the laptop's keyboard?

Thanks!

It's likely that your Numbers Lock is on.

In MCC > System > Manage System Services uncheck numlock on boot.

Or simply disable numlock by pressing the NumLock key on your laptop keyboard.
