Mageia 5 with Gnome installed but I want Xfce also

Mageia 5 with Gnome installed but I want Xfce also

I have an old PC with Pentium 4, 2,80 Ghz processor and 1 Gb memory.The Gnome desktop installed is perhaps a bit too hevy for my computer. Xfce would run better I suppose :roll:

I installed task-xfce but how to get the Xfce-desktop running :?:

You do that before you login, at the login/display manager. See some notes on that in our wiki: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Display_Mana ... _Selection
What display manager do you use currently? GDM?
Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
