Hi All.
My problem is that I have plasmoid (I think it is) -batterypowermanagement placed on my left display corner.

I want to delete it. How to do it?
Code: Select all
kquitapp plasma && rm ~/.kde4/share/config/plasma* && plasma &

This does not help. It is still there.
Thank You

What you did wipes your desktop configuration away, that's taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

Move away the other objects on top of that plasmoid, mouse-over on it and when the frame around it appears with the three icons click the "X" icon to remove it.

Impossible to move objects. Objects are clicable (you can see their frame), but you cannot move them.
You can click on plasmoid , see its reaction, but there are no settings , no X. No matter if widgets are locked or not.
Plasmoid is not always there. Sometimes not, sometimes yes.
100% is there when i unplug power cable.
At this time is not on screen, so I moved icons away.
Unplugged power cable - it is there, but I cannot do anything with it.
I think it is there when battery is charging, discharging when power is unplugged or when something happend with power.
But how to remove it?

What layout did you select for that desktop? Rightclick on desktop background => last option in menu => layout.

Maybe you should try to move away all your KDE settings and start with a fresh configuration.
Logout, switch to another tty with Ctrl+Alt+F2 to F8 and login as your normal user, then move away/rename
Code: Select all
mv ~/.kde4 ~/.kde4-backup

then login again. You can then gradually move back your previous settings, one by one.

Brand new desktop, brand new settings, brand new surprise

But it is much better, it is in system tray too.
System tray - Settings - Show - Battery monitor --- unchecked
Now is it OK
Thank You
