Libreoffice calc font color

64 bit Mageia 5.0.

How do I select a font color in Libreoffice Calc? There is what looks like a font color dropdown and a background color dropdown, and they have tool tips that indicate that they are font color and background color. However, trying to use the dropdown causes a dropdown to appear for a fraction of a second and immediately vanish. The font name and font size dropdowns do not do this--only the font color and background color. This problem happens even on a new blank document.

What desktop environment do you use currently? Do you maybe have old libreoffice settings from a previous installation?
Both dropdown boxes work fine here.

I am using fvwm2.

Moving aside my .fvwm2rc, .Xdefaults, and .xinitrc (leaving just line to run fvwm2) didn't fix the problem. Moving side my libreoffice options didn't help either.

Running as a user with a different window manager did fix the problem, so it may be a problem with fvwm2 instead of ooffice, but either way it's still a problem.

It's probably a better idea to ask in libreoffice forums or on fvwm mailing lists for that particular issue.
Short search only found one thread https://www.mail-archive.com/fvwm@fvwm. ... 01623.html
Another option may be to try to directly use the upstream libreoffice packages instead of the Mageia ones for comparison.

If you have one of the integration packages installed like libreoffice-kde you may want to remove them to see if it changes anything.
See https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia_4_Errata#LibreOffice and https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia_2_Err ... ice_Issues

In the past there were also issues with the selected GTK theme so you may try to change that.
