you can see the temperature by typing in a console

ive got temp monitor on my desktop, any other ideas on preventing overheat? Thanks for all the help!

Nobody mentioned so far, but couldn't it be something like an over-amount of dust inside the machine?

I'll clean it with come compressed air today, see what comes of it...
