Session not restored after boot/reboot

When I click the button to add a mirror, the CCM seems loading, but it doesn't show up the list of the mirror in order to select one of them.
I have no list choice to select one mirror or another (princeton.edu mirror / distrib-coffee ).
CCM stays on my usual mirror list...

I'm with ylyco on this one.

In Mageia Control Centre I have two entries for each repo. An HTTPS entry and a $MIRRORLIST entry.

I've enabled the "Updates Testing" repo for each.

If I highlight any the "Updates Testing" repo and then choose Edit there is a repo name but no place for a drop down list to choose a different repo.

On both machines I can choose nothing.

If I choose to "Add" a repo on the basis that I might enable a new one and disable the old I see a lot of download activity of files that have "synthesis.hdlist" in their name and when the process finishes nothing happens. There seems to be no way to chose a different repo.

Having two entries for each repo in Control Centre, the $MIRRORLIST one and the HTTPS one, I've activated the HTTPS one as well and see that now points at fi.muni.cz

Still no testing updates though.

So how would I go about specifying a particular repo?

After various intent, either I select "since the last connection" or "when the session has been registred manually" : none works out with me.

Do not know what is wrong with me.

LibreOffice / Okular / Dolphin / Gwenview : arre not restored.
Firefox and Thunerbird : only them are restored.

Good news, it works finally with Plasma X11 session, but still fail with Plasma Wayland session.

I used to be in Wayland session : I'll have to login in X11.

What is the main difference between them ?
Wayland is the one to go for next Mageia versions ?

Everytime I have to login, the Wayland session is selected, and I have to manually change to X11 :
how can I change the default Wayland setting to X11 ?
(Sorry for noob questions, but my firsts research are unsuccessful)

Thanks for all the help from the forum.

At last I have session restore working following Germ's post immediately above.....eventually!

First time around I selected the "distrib-coffee" repository in France that was mentioned earlier but that failed with the "no available updates" message as before.

I then tried again with the other recommendation "princeton.edu" and that produced the list of updates which seem to have installed and be working faultlessly.

It will be interesting to see if I leave my other machines untouched, just how long it takes some other repositories to synchronise.

Hello.

I recently notices that some of my programs I had open on my last session did not reappear when I login.
For example Gwenview, Dolphin, Krusader and Konsole are not restored anymore.
Is this a new feature?
Only Firefox and Thunderbird are restored.

I did not changed anything I am aware of.
