No sound in mp4a audio and mp4 video files

Neither VLC or SMplayer can open any video files in Linux Mageia 3. I installed VLC 2.7.0 tainted. Cannot install Libavcodecs54-1.1-5.1 tainted due to unsatisfied due to libvo-aacenc.so.0

I can only view video files in VLC & SMPlayer in Playonlinux.

If I uninstall libvo I loose Skype.
I get the following with VLC in Mageia
No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "h264". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.
