[SOLVED] superslow login with Plasma

This is what I did. I followed your advice, bought a SSD drive and tried it out. Just now I gave it its own home directory on the SSD drive itself, just to experiment with it and keep my just reinstalled system intact. This way I can experiment and continue to do my work.

If you just reinstalled and want to have the maximum use out of your SSD, reinstall and put / and /home on the SSD. You will never want to go back.
