Mageia and New Hardware Support

I have purchased the following mini PC:

Beelink GTi14 Ultra AI PC with Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 185H, featuring:

Graphics Card: Intel Arc™ Graphics

Processor: Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 185H

From what I’ve read, both the processor and motherboard work flawlessly with kernel 6.12 or newer. Since I want to install mageia on this machine, how do I go about it? Isn’t it a problem for the distribution to have an ISO that’s two years old? How does mageia expect to attract new users when someone trying to install it on new hardware has to consider a hundred workarounds just to get the distribution up and running? For the record, I installed mageia, but it simply doesn’t start in graphic mode. I have to do all updates via terminal, install the new kernel from the backports to see if it will work. One more thing: even after enabling all repositories, I don’t see the kernel update in the backports! Am I missing something?

And since I managed, using a lot of the terminal and without a graphical environment, to install the latest version of the Linux kernel from backports_testing, and now I can enter the graphical environment, the only problem I have now is that I don't see the wireless internet networks.
