Login prompt

Mageia 9 dual boot windows 11 and Mageia 9 . Asus Laptop:
No login prompt/window after hibernation.
One has to guess that a login password is required.
I would expect tha a login request will be presented.
Please advise.

Usually what you see when you resume is the screenlocker/screensaver, and mostly it only shows the login prompt if you press any key or the mouse.
Otherwise a screensaver would not work and only show the login prompt always.
Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
Caution: Hot, bubbling magic inside. May explode or cook your kittens!

Yes hibernaiton saves the complete session, including user logged in.
At home & work Mandriva since 2006, Mageia 2011. Thinkpad T40, T43, T60, T400, T510, Dell M4400, M6300, Acer Aspire 7. Workstation using LVM, LUKS, VirtualBox, BOINC
