Lilypond bug: to report or not to report?

Hello, I have kind of a procedural question.
My Ghostscript updated to 10.05.0 on March 19 and since then I can't compile music scores with Frescobaldi and Lilypond.
It seems the cause is this bug: https://gitlab.com/lilypond/lilypond/-/issues/6675
Ghostscript doesn't work with Lilypond since version 10.02.1
The bug in Lilypond is fixed since version 2.25.10: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2253842
And it'ts true because on my Fedora with Ghostscript 10.03.1 and Lilypond 2.25.26 Frescobaldi compiles just OK.
However, Mageia 9 is on Lilypond 2.24.3 since past July.
I couldn't find any more recent version of Lilypond on Flatpak either.
So what am I supposed to do besides waiting for an update? Is filing a bug appropriate?
