avidemux menu missing

Hi.
Using mageia 9. Installed. When I start avidemux there are only 4 icons on the left and no main menu. Tried clicking the title bar but no luck. Thanks.

Which desktop environment? Did you already delete the .avidemux6 directory in your /home folder? Which avidemux-qt version: tainted or normal? Exact ersion number?

Hi. Thanks for the quick response. Plasma version 5.27.10 . Deleted the .avidemux6 directory.
Installed from tainted. Version 2.8.1. Thanks.

If so please edit your first post, adding "[SOLVED]" to beginning of header.

Of still problems: is your Mageia 9 fully updated?

Still a problem. I update at the prompt using dnf and the system is up to date.

Do you have an x86_64 system or an i586? Also, what CPU and graphics card/driver do you have?

64 bit system updated regularily. Just checked and the problem still exists. Thanks for your help.

Do you have another user on the system?
if so, does the issue show for that user.

If you don't have another user, create a new (temporary) one, log out and then log into the new user.
does the issue remain?
