Can I add browser LibreWolf safely via a Fedora repository?

I'd like to do some testing with the privacy browser LibreWolf (Firefox-derivative).
The package is not in the Mageia RPM repositories, but Fedora has a special DNF repository for it: https://rpm.librewolf.net/librewolf-repo.repo | pkexec tee /etc/yum.repos.d/librewolf.repo

Is it safe to install this LibreWolf package in Mageia 9? Or can I expect instabilities in my MGA 9 system?

There are no additional library packages / dependencies in their repository, so if the brower itself will not make your system unstable then you're fine.

Try it out and let us know.

Thanks for the replies, I just succesfully installed LibreWolf from the site https://rpm.librewolf.net/pool/.
In fact, I'm typing this from that browser.

All functions seem to work well. Using the fingerprinting tests at https://coveryourtracks.eff.org/ and https://privacytests.org/ shows that LibreWolf is rather good at blocking fingerprinting by websites.

During install of the rpm, I got a warning that the rpm has a bad signature (no signature):

After hitting Yes, the rpm installed fine. UblockOrigin is already integrated in the browser. Only thing is that I have to watch out for updates myself, LibreWolf doesn't support automatical updates for itself.

The browser feels somewhat faster than my original Firefox. Video works ok.

Untill now I was not able to import bookmarks and logins from my Firefox browser (only Chromium, Chrome and Opera are listed to copy these data from).

Well, you installed via an RPM, so you should only update via package management. Otherwise the RPM would be broken if you would use an integrated update mechanism.
If you run dnf update librewolf every few days then you should get updates as usual if they provide those via their repository.
