Since Mga7 the 64bit netinstall .isos have been UEFI capable.
they boot up to a Grub screen with UEFI in the title.
If your install did not, it means you did not install in UEFI mode.
It is possible to do dirty reinstall, and in your case convert from a legacy to UEFI install.
If your Windows is indeed UEFI, there is a EFI partition. it is not specific to your windows install, so it can be used for your Mageia conversion.
before starting, do take a backup of your system.
1/ boot up your 64bit netinstaller. be sure that UEFI is displayed in the grub screen.
2/ choose install, not upgrade.
3/ at the partition editor, choose: custom disk partitioning.
4/ confirm that the /EFI partition is enabled, rechoose your / and any other partitions.
5/ importantly, do not format any of these partitions. choose your desktop (the same one(s)). install should complete in a few minutes - no packages need to be installed.
6/ at the end, (the configuration page) install the boot-loader. here, some packages should be installed into the /EFI partition.
7/ reboot
